PLEASE DRINK ME

Syntropia Art Gallery Gothenburg 2025

I was kindly invited by Anna Maria Hedman at Syntropia Space to do this performance again, at the final day of an exhibition of the artist Emmeli Hultqvist

I made 2 small changes :

this time the participants were asked to make 2 choices :

1. Blood from a bleeding cut on my fingertip - v/s - blood from blood sample from me in a test tube

(everyone except one, chose from fingertip ..)

2. Water - v/s - Spirits

(everyone except one, chose spirits ..)

I rang a bell after a while, stating  "That was the sound of my soul entering you heart. Thank you for drinking me."

It was called "Performance Art, Body and Transformation: An Analysis of Pernilla Eskilsson's Work Please drink me"

The author describes how I am interested in the friction and gaps that exist between the profane and the religious world, and MOST HONOURABLY sees me as a kind of religious guide whose works have healing effects on the audience.
